Had a great Christmas stay at a guesthouse near the famous Adam's Peak hike. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the starting point of the hike. the staff were friendly and helpful, offering delicious home-cooked meals that kept us fueled for the climb. We also appreciated the cozy atmosphere of the guesthouse, with a comfortable room and a nice outdoor sitting area where we could enjoy complimentary hot drinks.
It would also be helpful if there were soap holders in the shower area. the shower drain seemed to clog easily, which was a minor inconvenience.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with lots of useful tips for our city trip.
The hot water in the shower was a bit unreliable, making it difficult to have a consistently warm shower.

the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, suggesting a side way up the peak that was easily done with some light. the location of the hotel is perfect, right at the start of the trail, saving you about 1 km of the long 7 km trek. the owner provided excellent TLC during our stay and even offered us a delicious breakfast after our hike. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to hike Adam's Peak. Cons: Could not be improved in any way.
